These beautiful cork coasters are handcrafted in our small Austrian workshop. We use the finest Portuguese cork, cut from the bark in whole, continuous pieces. This gives our placemats a robust, comfortable, warm, and dirt-resistant surface that is second to none – forget crumbling cork mats and discover a genuine quality product.
The coasters are very easy to clean: dirt or food residue can be wiped off with a sponge. Cork requires no special care and will last a very long time.
Made from genuine Portuguese cork, handcrafted in Austria.

Easy-care
We manufacture our products from a continuous layer of cork, not cork granules. This makes them water-resistant and easy to clean .
This cork layer, called "cork leather," has other advantages as well: it's also anti-allergenic and dirt-repellent. As long as the material isn't permanently exposed to moisture, it will survive anything.
Durable
Our construction, consisting of a cork leather surface with a backing made of cork and natural rubber granules, is resistant to crumbling and incredibly robust. The cork leather is elastic , tear-resistant , and dirt-repellent, while the backing is sturdy and non-slip .
Few natural materials are as durable as cork, and even fewer are as long-lasting - because cork retains its properties for years.
Naturally
Cork is a renewable, 100% natural, and compostable raw material for which no trees are felled. The bark of the cork oak tree reaches a thickness of up to 25 cm and is harvested every 8-9 years.
The cork harvest is subject to strict legal regulations to prevent overexploitation. The trees are given enough time to regenerate – and in doing so, they bind 14 million tons of CO2 annually .
Austrian handcraft
All our products are handcrafted in our small workshop in Upper Austria. We sit at the sewing machine ourselves and cut the shapes ourselves—thus ensuring truly high quality in every piece.
