These velour-lined coasters add a stylish touch to any table. Hand-stitched from genuine Italian top grain leather, they boast a unique, plastic-free material, a beautiful natural grain, and an easy-to-clean surface.

Thanks to the suede backing, they are non-slip and do not move even on glass tables.

We use unique, untreated full-grain leather for our coasters, which, thanks to its waxed surface, easily absorbs grease and oil. Grease stains will disappear over time. Any dirt can be wiped off with a sponge.

Unlike plastic-coated leather, these placemats develop a patina and age naturally, just like grandpa's hundred-year-old leather chair. Our leather is plastic-free. As a result, natural characteristics are visible on the surface, and the color is not 100% uniform.

We make our coasters from untreated Italian suede and nappa leather. This material differs from conventional leather in its plastic-free finish. Contrary to current practice, our leather is only oiled and waxed, allowing it to age naturally, develop a patina, and last a truly long time: No plastic!

Cleaning & Care

The coasters are easy to wipe clean with a wet cloth. For stubborn stains like dried-on sauce or batter, the stained area must first be moistened to soften it, as repeated rubbing with wet, rough cloths can cause the wax coating to wear off slightly. The coasters are not machine washable.

Any scratches or abraded areas can be treated with leather care.

Resistant

It's not without reason that leather is synonymous with robust products. Our leather is tanned, waxed, and oiled according to our own recipe to create a water-repellent surface that can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Due to the lack of the usual plastic layer, fats and oils can penetrate the leather and any stains disappear over time .

Naturally

Our material differs from conventional leather in its plastic-free surface. Contrary to current practice, our leather is only oiled and waxed , which makes it truly durable: no plastic that can peel off irreparably, just pure nature .

We intentionally manufacture our goods with a few non-harmful features (closed scars, etc.) to emphasize our closeness to nature and reduce waste.

Durable

Synthetic-free leather doesn't deteriorate. Like an old leather chair, with proper care, it will serve you well for a lifetime , developing a patina and aging naturally .

Minor scratches can be easily removed with leather care , making the product look like new again.

We sew each piece by hand and treat our material with the precision and quality it deserves.

All our products are handcrafted in our small workshop in Upper Austria. We sit at the sewing machine ourselves and cut the shapes ourselves—thus ensuring truly high quality in every piece.
